I was checking out photography sites when I encountered this discussion on Flickr. It was about a Nerd trying to reunite lost camera photos with its rightful owners.
Such a great effort if you would try to see the picture. I mean, if you are walking in the woods, discovered a broken camera, brought it home and was able to retrieve the photos – would you care enough to find the owners?
In my case, I may have had second thoughts or none at all.
But this guy, the owner of http://basinfoundcamera.blogspot.com/ site, set up the site just to find the rightful owners of the photos and videos. Very heartwarming I must say.
The good news is that the owners were found after eight days of passing the links to one person to another, to sites, forums and a lot more. Such a wonderful story.
It may seem a trivial thing to do, but truly, it makes a difference in the world we are in right now. Humanity in its simplest form on the internet.
Ciao!
