What Might Have Been or What If?

By The Mouse Potato | September 29, 2008      Email This Post Email This Post

I saw this status message over my friend Karl’s Yahoo Messenger — “it been said, that the saddest thing a man will face is… What might have been?”

For me it sounded like “What if?” More of a question that definitely we always ask. Given choices in our life, we never have the opportunity to see what might have happened if we chose another path instead of the one we have made right now?

Curiousity I guess, we all are so eager to know about everything that we seek to know the answer to what never happened.

I myself had shared the same experiences, mostly about love. (Oww Shucks…)

Well, every man who have failed on getting a woman always asks himself during reminiscing moments about “What if it have been us?”. (If it have been you idiot then she would be pregnant by now).

hehe.. Kidding aside.

We just can’t help but look back. It is indeed a tough question to answer. I mean, how will you know? Will you be getting a time machine, go back in time then choose option B instead on option A? HUh!? A very nice idea my man… But where are you supposed to get a “taaayyym massheeen”?

try asking a fortune teller, but it will fail because fortune tellers only tell the future and besides, who believes them nowadays.

Try listening to “What if” sung by Babyface. It relates to the topic.

So I too asks… what if I didn’t write this post?

Ciao!
