Because of the new policy on our company wherein we are required to study a little more about the English language, we were given a series of test to know our “Level” in terms of comprehension.

Our Communications adviser Ms. Vern used Classmarker.com to test our English proficiency. And to my surprise, a lot of us aren’t well versed with the language although we directly communicated with peers abroad.

My result so far are as follow:

English Proficiency Test – Multiple choice
Score: 46/50 – 92%

Advanced Irregular Verbs Test – Fill the blanks
Score: 71/83 – 86%

Because of my results,  I belong to the advance class. But still, I never imagined I will be having exams like these… Much like being back at college days which I really mind. Wheew, I hated so many lectures.

Glad that this was not an oral exam because my skills are a bit rusty since we are not into English oral communication within the Manila office. Besides, when we talk to the people in Los Angeles, we only type our messages thru YM.

I am not very good with my English as you have already seen on my blog. But I try to improve it with constant use and practice. I hope as well that you understand what I am trying to say at this point. :p

So how well is your English? Does it really matter? I think what matters most is that you deliver your message across without misunderstanding. YOu need not memorize it all. At least, that is what I believe.
