What do you put on your Blog? Does it make sense?

??? - I am confused
The idea of me being a blogger started a while back. During college days. The idea — to be able to have a way to share to my friends what is happening to me and also to serve as a reflection of who am I as a person (the colors, designs, content and so on - so forth).
But recently I was having this problem, much more of an answered question perhaps. It is whether the content of my blog means anything to the readers.
I have had many visitors recently, most of them views the post, scroll, skim, read a bit then off to another page (exit, stage right…). They really liked the funny stuffs, unusual news and game related articles which on some of them, I also have read on the internet. But I was asking myself, was that it already? Just view my post then go, no comments of any sort or interactivity? I really should give thanks to those that have made impressions. =)
If you haven’t realized it yet, majority of the posts here on my blog is about my life. This is because currently, more than half of this blog’s content came from my old blogger account. This blog was just recently established and I badly needed content. Even the categories aren’t that well organized. My first time also to use tags on posts.
But thinking that I already have my own domain, I started posting topics which will be of interest to other people. Then I gotten more traffic which made me quite happy.
The question on my head stands — what should I put on my blog? “short, unusual, funny, geared towards readers interests topics” or “long, boring, meaningful content that few people read”? — should I squeeze in something about my life as well?
