Unfortunate To Have Sore Eyes

last Friday, that was August 3, 2007, I came home very tired in the afternoon. Therefore, after taking care of some things, I finally decided to take a quick rest to have energy in the evening. But when I woke up, my mother and siblings noticed that I had a very unusual red eye.
Quickly they exclaimed “God, you have sore eyes!”. But when I looked at the mirror, I proudly said that “Geeh, this is nothing, happens all the time when I sleep”. Well, frankly I was wrong because the redness accompanied by mild swelling was still evident when I slept that night up until the whole day next morning.
This is my first time to have such. I remember that when everyone on the house had sore eyes, I was the only one able to evade it. Same case when they had Chicken pox. But now, I am alone in this misery which is good news because no other person will get infected because as we all know, sore eyes can be nasty and very contagious.
The only thing I’ve done wrong the past days was that i forgot to buy medicine for my so-called illness. Well, imagine the whole day of saturday, I was just sitting around the house doing nothing to alleviate the redness of my eyes ASAP. I figured I have to buy medicine on sunday, which is yesterday, but it is already too late. Too late in the sense that when I go to office, my colleagues are sure to notice that I am a new trainee of the Men in Black because I am wearing shades INSIDE the office. Well, what else can they think when seeing someone like me wearing shades in an air conditioned room? The answer is nothing else but I have sore eyes.
Its kinda awkward feeling doing this things. Now I understand how those people with sore eyes feel. Well, it is just that some people are afraid to come near you. Afraid of being infected with the so-called virus. Whahaha… I am a zombie from Racoon city! I will infect you! Come with me and touch me If you don’t wanna live! hahaha…
The question is am I feeling uneasy right now? My answer is Naaah! It is just like any ordinary day except that I am very cool looking with my shades and stuff… But still, I hope that this will be gone tomorrow for good, perhaps the next day, or th e other day, or the day after the other day.
