Waiting For The Coming Of Typhoon "Reming" (DURIAN/24W)

I woke up this morning with a question in my mind — is there work today?
I called my friend Don to ask him if there was work this day. I asked him because of the reports of a big typhoon coming to Metro Manila. The news say that Manila is currently on storm warning sognal number 2. But up to this time which is about 10:30am, there aren’t any signs of the “Big Storm”. Geez, I am very afraid (sarcasm).
All schools levels have no classes today. Actually, every student are very happy starting today up to weekends. Students have no classes today because of the typhoon. Then they still don’t have classes tomorrow because Heroes day was move from Nov 30 to Dec 1 as proclaimed by our president Arroyo. PAG-ASA says that tomorrow was going to be the official arrival of the storm wherein we are going to experience a strom signal of 3. Maybe, that will be another reason for students not to go to school tomorrow or on saturday (if they have any). I myself am a student but I couldn’t enjoy this holiday of some sort since I need to go to the office because offices of both government and private companies isn’t included in the “stay-at-home-and-do-your-thing” policy — sad … But I think this is much better than staying home patching up the roof of our house. I’ll just let my father and younger brother do the work. I feel much better staying at the airconditioned room here at the office than to be running errands for my parents. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate my parents, I just don’t want to run errands very often.
Anyway…
I will come home early today since I think that the storm may really come and it may come early. So at around 3 or 4 pm later this afternoon, I am out of here. Besides, I need to go home coz my girlfriend is coming to visit me. Hope that it doesn’t flood or something on her way here.
Hmmm.. I think thats it… later… Ciao!
