A Package From Canada

Earlier this afternoon, my uncle Roy, his wife and mom came to our house to open a package from Aunt Maggie from Canada. Roy’s wife, Yeye, brought the package along her trip back here at the Philippines. They came at around 3pm riding a car.
The box is not as big as I usually thought it was. I was kinda amazed that this year’s package from our Aunt Maggie (actually my grandmother from my dad’s side) was small. It is ok, maybe times are really difficult not only in the Philippines but abroad as well.
Then, they had opened it. I was wishing that I can have many present from that box. But I just realized that I wasn’t able to mail my Aunt with regards to what I want. Besides, I am not comfortable with the idea of asking from other people for gifts. But on the other hand, I am very thankful that our Aunt remember us always.
Anyways…
I got 3 shirts. Most of them are Old Navy brand. I love those shirts, they really feel silky and so comfortable on the skin. My sister got a pair of shorts, some caps from Yeye. My dad got one shirt which was similar to mine, another which was loosely fit. All in all, we had our own share of blessings.
I never got to say this to my Aunt, but I want her to know that we really appreciate the things she sends to us. Thanks Aunt Maggie. Hope that we could you would always be happy and healthy.
