Text All Networks — Endlessly!
By The Mouse Potato | July 4, 2006
Here in the Philippines, each cellular network, namely Sun, Smart and Globe has their own brand of unlimited texting. Unlimited texting had been a very popular way of communication for the masses, especially because of the unstable economy.
When users (of whichever network) are enlisted on the texting unlimited service, they are limited to texting only those contacts that are subscribed within same network they are using. They can however text contacts on other network but with a 1 peso/text charge.
But now there should be no worries because here comes the new “1 card text all” service to answer the need of all-throughout unlimited texting… Now, all networks can be texted at your will.
The mechanic of the system goes like this:
Users must first register to an unlimited texting service provided by their own network. This is a must! because the “text all” service combines the unlimited texting service of each network into one big system which handles the transfer of message from one source network to another.
I don’t if I explained it right? But that is the briefest explanation I can muster… I must say, to see is to believe…
