Speaking Of Popular People…
By The Mouse Potato | June 30, 2006
I was sick from migraine during this past few days. That is also the reason why I wasn’t able to blog lately.
While I was lonely sitting on my computer the other day, I happen to come across a collection of pictures of my first visit to Baguio City.
I think that was mid April of this year. We where at “the Mansion” not knowing what was there. Then suddenly people are running, mumbling to each other and are awfully excited.
Then there she was, our president Gloria Arroyo. Actually it is the second time that I have seen her in person. First time was at Davao City during a regional meet of campus journalists. She stood beside me and our school banner, she shakes my hand as the media men took pictures of her. I never really saw what the picture look liked, I never came across it on the newspaper.
But this time, when I saw her back at Baguio, I mustered all the confidence I can get and headed towards her, she was barricaded by her guards, but I managed to get through somehow. When I was near her I asked for a picture and she happily agreed.
Now here it is, our president and I. Seems like we are buddies…hehe…chow!
