Voltes V 2005 Edition

Our family friend Richard came over to our house to show us some pictures of his latest toy, a one foot tall replica of the anime classic Voltes V.
I was also a fan of Voltes V back at my grade school days. I’d even watched the the filipino translated version of it at our local tv station 7 but that was during my high school days.
According to our friend Richard, it was not just the ordinary plastic and die cast metal model. What amazed me is that he mentioned that it was composed of 5 parts. The 5 parts was the 5 vehicles used by the 5 heroes. Well, I must admit that I never really saw a well made multi-part robot. And the best part was that it had many accessories like the sword, spiked tops, cannons, it also had many hands for which ever purposes one would like.
This is surely another fine addition for those who are toy collectors like my friend here. I am a toy collector myself but a frustrated one. This is because I never really had the money to purchase the toys I liked when I was young. Even if I got a good toy that can be collected, I always end up messing with the thing around.
